Ms. LONG Bophakeo is a Legal Assistant at HML. She is a highly accomplished legal professional with a robust academic background and extensive practical experience. Ms. Bophakeo holds a Bachelor of Law from the Royal University of Law and Economics in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, and a Master of Law in International Law and Legal Studies (American Law) from Temple University Beasley School of Law in the United States. These qualifications have equipped her with both local and international legal knowledge. Prior to joining the firm, she has served as a Court Clerk’s Assistant to the Prosecution attached to court in Phnom Penh, and as a Legal Intern at Paul Lelii Law Office in Minnesota, United States. In these roles, she conducted comprehensive legal research, drafted legal documents, and facilitated diplomatic communications at the Royal Embassy of Cambodia to the United States in Washington, D.C. Ms. Bophakeo gained extensive experience in legal research across a wide range of legal areas, both national and international laws. Her expertise covers Civil and Criminal Litigation, where she has prepared detailed legal case summaries and assisted in drafting legal opinions, as well as court complaints. Ms. Bophakeo actively participated in court proceedings, gaining valuable exposure to the practical aspects of legal practice.
